I am so excited to finally reveal my “new” kitchen! DIY renovation projects are seriously the most fun because you are creating a change with your own hands. I was inspired to tackle my kitchen remodel when I was pregnant with Lukas but was wisely told to wait by my mom. I actually half wish I could have used some of that third trimester pregnancy energy to have helped me get this done!
The changes I made were simple ones – paint the cabinets and paint the countertops. I will do follow up posts with tips and tricks for each of those fun projects but for now, here is the reveal! In 2 weeks I took my worn out wood cabinets to a beautiful white using Behr Alkyd Paint and my green laminate countertops to a white diamond granite look-alike using the Giani Granite Countertop Kit.
