Kitchen Remodel Reveal
The changes I made were simple ones – paint the cabinets and paint the countertops. I will do follow up posts with tips and tricks for each of those fun projects but for now, here is the reveal! In 2 weeks I took my worn out wood cabinets to a beautiful white and my green laminate countertops to a white diamond granite look-alike.
Baby Boy Nursery Reveal
Putting together a nursery was both super exciting and really challenging! It was exciting to picture each little corner and how the room would grow and change with our little boy. Overall, finding the perfect pieces for the space was really challenging because I tend to like gender neutral decor (and to me that doesn’t mean just finding something grey!), I hate themes (like why does every brand of nursery decor have to carry woodland animals, owls or plaid for boys rooms?) and most of all I really want something that will grow with our child and not require an update every few years.
Shiplap Accent Wall in the Guest Bathroom
I think a shiplap accent wall is one of the easiest ways to infuse some farmhouse flair to a room on a budget!
DIY Farmhouse Open Shelving in the Guest Bathroom
Ever since we installed open shelving in the She Shed (see that post here), I have been hooked! I love the look and it’s basically like adding a decor feature your walls because you get to decorate them any way you want.
Interior Front Door Project
I painted my interior front door! (Spoiler alert, it’s not white)
She Shed Reveal
I am most excited to have a space that was born in my brain, built with my own hands (with help from wonderful friends) and can change decor and function as often as I please! Welcome to the She Shed!
Milk Paint Makeover | Curvy Dresser
As soon as I found out that I had the green light to start renovations on the she shed project, I knew I needed to start the hunt for the perfect vintage dresser to fill my space! I wanted something that had charm and would be a small statement piece without taking up too much room. I started the hunting back in the fall when garage sales were swill in full swing and was lucky enough to pick up this beautiful curvy dresser at an estate sale for $20.
She Shed – Walls, Floors and Paint
We have officially installed the shiplap on the walls and the wood plank floorboards and painted the she shed!
Christmas Home Tour
For the Christmas decor this year my goal was to simplify. I wanted simple neutral colors, fewer ornaments, beautiful greenery and to get maximum coziness from minimal decor. I also wanted to challenge myself to not buy any new Christmas decor this year..
